基本介绍

      黄华生,副教授博士生导师,荷兰阿姆斯特丹大学古生物学与地层学博士,曾在意大利佛罗伦萨大学和阿姆斯特丹大学担任博士后研究员和访问学者。他长期致力于基于古植物学与孢粉学的新生代生物多样性与环境演化研究,先后在中国科学院西双版纳热带植物园古生态研究组、阿姆斯特丹大学生物多样性与生态系统动力学研究所和佛罗伦萨大学地球科学学院学习或工作,主要研究区域包括新生代中国西部、东南亚和地中海陆地沉积等。他提出了缅甸是地史时期劳亚古陆和冈瓦纳古陆植物区系交流的十字路口的假说,证实了南亚季风在始新世东南亚的存在,并揭示了中中新世气候适宜期和藤本类群的创新性进化对棕榈科植物的新生代生物地理和多样化历史的影响。相关研究成果发表于 GEB、Geosci Front、J Biogeogr、Bot J Linn Soc、Ecol Evol和 RPP 等地质学、生物地理学、生态学、植物学和古植物学与孢粉学国际主流学术期刊,被 Science、Ann Rev Earth Planet Sci、ESR 和 New Phytol 等期刊引用。此外,他与佛罗伦萨大学、阿姆斯特丹大学、伦敦大学皇家霍洛威学院、法国国家科学研究中心、马赛大学、德国波茨坦大学、新加坡国立大学、瑞典哥德堡大学、瑞士弗赖堡大学、印度尼西亚国家研究创新署、中国科学院和广州大学等国内外高校科研院所学者建立了紧密的合作关系,担任 Innov Geosci、Hist Biol、Plant Ecol Evol 和 RPP 等期刊编委,并受邀任国际生物地理学会大会等国际学术会议,ESR、JGR、Palaeo-3 和 Pollen and Spore Atlas: For the Cenozoic of the Malay Basin, Malaysia 等国际专业学术期刊和英文书籍审稿人。

研究方向

本课题组研究方向包括但不限于如下:

  • 新生代生物多样性、植被与环境演化。基于植物大化石 (包括叶片、果实和种子等) 和孢粉等指标利用不同方法 (如生物气候分析法、稀疏化分析和生物地层学方法等) 定量重建东南亚 (缅甸、印度尼西亚等国家) 和中国等亚洲区域 (包括考古遗址) 新生代以来 (6600万年前至今) 的植物多样性、古植被和古气候 (尤其是南亚季风的演化历史) 等;

  • 植物古生态与地理历史。结合建立的全球植物化石数据库和古气候与气候生态位模型 (climatic niche models),揭示植物类群的古生态进化与生物地理历史,并通过相关气候与构造事件探讨其驱动因素;

  • 琥珀成分及其来源追溯。目前主要研究不同产地的缅甸琥珀的化学成分,利用其中的特征因子来指示产生树脂形成琥珀的植物类群 (taxon, 如裸子植物南洋杉科贝壳杉属、金松科金松属植物和被子植物龙脑香科植物等) 并厘清琥珀的形成过程。
