2018年9月起为中山大学地理科学与规划学院遥感与地理信息工程系副教授。生于香港, 2015年获加拿大卡尔加里大学颁发测绘工程博士学位。曾经在卡尔加里一初创企业从事测绘研发的工作,开发了一些用于建筑业,石油业和农业等激光雷达数据提取及分析的算法。也曾在一跨国大型企业担任电子工程师。主要研究方向包括:激光雷达(静态及移动)、三维照相机和其他传感器等在各领域的测量应用,包括道路测量、结构变形监测、古迹保育、农业应用测量等;传感器结合;传感器校正;也有开展一些面积较大的环境监测,分析和模型等的研究项目。
