由中国地理学会发起并由中、日、韩三国地理学会联合主办的“中日韩地理学家学术研讨会”已于2006年(中国北京)、2007年(日本熊本)和2008年(韩国清州)成功举办三届。“第四届中日韩地理学家学术研讨会”将于2009年12月9日-11日在中国广州召开。中国地理学会及会议组织者诚挚邀请亚洲地理学家参加本次会议,探讨地理研究进展并推动三国之间的学术交流与合作。同期,还将举办“第十二届全国青年地理工作者学术研讨会”,欢迎全国青年地理学者聚集羊城,共同探讨当代地理学的前沿领域与未来发展。

注册费国外学者为300美元(含住宿三天), 国内学者为人民币800元,国内学生为人民币300元,将于2009年12月9日报到注册时收取。注册费包括一次会议宴会、茶\咖啡\点心等会间茶歇和其他相关服务活动。注册费不包括住宿费用;住宿将由会议组织方统一预定。考察费用另外收取,费用为50美元,也将在注册报到时收取。

WELCOME
Under the context of a striking financial crisis, China, Japan and Korea, with strengthened coordination, will contribute jointly to the recovery of Asia and the world. A new round of China-Japan-Korea conference of Geographers is going to be sponsored by Geographical Society of China, co-sponsored by Geographical Society from Japan and Korea. During last three years the symposium held in Beijing of China, Kumamoto of Japan and Cheongju of Korea was a great success. The 4th China-Japan-Korea Joint Conference on Geography will be held at Sun Yat-sen University, Guangzhou, China, in December 09-11, 2009. The Geographical Society of China and the organizing committee warmly welcome all the participants to share and enjoy latest innovations and advances in geography, with the aim of promoting wide academic cooperation among scholars across Asia. This intriguing conference will also provide all attendees an excellent opportunity to explore the latest progress and development of geography.

8. FEES AND HOTEL
The registration fee is USD $300 for one participant and will be paid at the symposium. Registration fees cover hotels of three nights, one banquet, admission to the conference, conference packages (booklets), coffee breaks, reception, and related services. The organizing committee would like to reserve hotels for participants. For fieldwork participants, a fieldtrip fee of 50 USD will also be charged at the symposium.
